In-person in Chicago | Telehealth throughout Illinois

You don’t have to hold everything on your own. You may be used to showing up for others, being strong, understanding, and dependable. But inside, you might feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from yourself.

Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to explain everything to be understood.

I offer culturally responsive, depth-oriented psychotherapy for individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, and the weight of expectations, so you can feel more grounded, clear, and supported in your life.

Start where you are. We’ll go at your pace.

Feeling Stuck, Disconnected, or Overwhelmed?

You may be carrying a lot of responsibilities to family, work, culture, or community, while trying to make sense of your own needs. Anxiety, trauma, identity questions, or family dynamics can feel heavy, especially when you’re expected to “hold it together.”

Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to explain or minimize your experience. A space where your strengths are recognized alongside the challenges you’re facing.

I work collaboratively with clients to create a grounded, supportive environment that honors your values, identity, and pace of healing.

My Approach

My work is strengths-based, person-centered, and multicultural. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, respected, and supported, not fixed.

Strengths-Based & Person-Centered

I view clients as the experts on their own lives. Therapy is guided by your goals, values, and lived experience, while building on the resilience and coping strategies that have helped you survive and adapt.

Multicultural & Culturally Responsive

As a bilingual therapist (Tagalog/Filipino), I practice with cultural humility and awareness of how race, ethnicity, immigration history, gender, and systemic factors shape mental health. Together, we make space for the parts of your experience that may have been overlooked or misunderstood elsewhere.

I integrate trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and relational therapies, tailoring our work to your needs and pace. When helpful, I also incorporate expressive and creative techniques to support insight and emotional processing.

What Therapy With Me Feels Like

Therapy with me is grounded, collaborative, and respectful of who you are and where you come from. You can expect a supportive space where your identity, culture, and lived experience are honored, not questioned or minimized. Our work will move at a pace that feels steady and sustainable, balancing warmth, thoughtful reflection, and practical tools to help you build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
